Andre possesses a deep-rooted love for music that has been nurtured through years of dedicated study and education. He has embarked on an impressive academic journey, beginning with his formal education in music at The University of Kansas. At this esteemed institution, Andre delved into the realm of saxophone, honing his technical skills and immersing himself in the rich tapestry of musical knowledge.

Under the tutelage of Vince Gnojek, Andre not only mastered the technical aspects of his instrument but also developed a profound appreciation for the transformative power of music. His educational background has provided him with a strong foundation in music theory, music history, and ensemble performance, enabling him to delve deeply into the intricacies of the art form.

As a performer, Andre has graced prestigious venues across the country, collaborating with talented musicians and captivating audiences with mesmerizing performances. Some of his experience includes the world premiere of Kevin Walcyzk’s Symphony No. 5 at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., touring with the KU Saxophone Quartet, and several recording projects.
