DESERT HILLS COMMUNITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC
Group Music Lessons for Adults
Group Music Lessons for Adults
Group lessons are a great way for adults to begin or continue learning an instrument. Group instruction creates a sense of community, accountability and mutual support through the learning process. And at only $25/class, group lessons make music-learning more affordable than private, one-on-one instruction. We offer group piano as well as other instruments by expressed interest.
Group Piano
Always dreamed of playing the piano? Or maybe it has been decades since you touched the keys and you want to take up playing again? Adult Group Piano is a great place to start or continue your piano-playing journey.
Specially designed for adults and seniors, our lively and engaging group piano classes will help you cultivate your piano-playing skills, no matter your starting point. In Beginning Group Piano, you will learn to read music, play songs using proper technique, explore chords and other essential building blocks of music, and more. In our Early Intermediate class, you will continue developing technique, exploring more advanced music, and begin to build a repertoire of your favorite pieces of music.
For Fall 2025, we are offering Beginning Group Piano on Wednesdays from 1-2pm. Early Intermediate Piano meets on Tuesday evenings.
For adult students who are more advanced or who wish more fully personalized instruction, we recommend private lessons.
