Community Engagement
Student Performances
Our students are the heart of everything we do. Throughout the year, we provide numerous opportunities for musicians of all ages and skill levels to take the stage. These performances are more than just recitals; they are milestones where students build confidence, share their progress with family and friends, and experience the joy of live musical expression.
Faculty Performance
Education and inspiration go hand-in-hand. Our faculty is comprised of world-class musicians and dedicated educators who remain active in their craft. By hosting regular faculty recitals, we offer our students and the broader community a chance to hear professional-level performances while setting a standard of excellence for our aspiring musicians to follow.
Community Performances
Many talented musicians in our community practice for years but lack an outlet or a dedicated space to share their music with others. We bridge that gap by providing meaningful performance experiences for local musicians of all ages and backgrounds. Through our community ensembles, players come together to rehearse for several weeks, culminating in a powerful public concert. A hallmark of this experience is the privilege of performing inside the beautiful, acoustically stunning sanctuary at Desert Hills Presbyterian Church—providing our ensemble members and audiences alike with an unforgettable musical experience.
Piano Competition
Excellence is forged through healthy challenge. Our annual Piano Competition brings together talented young pianists from across the state to showcase their technical mastery and artistic depth. This event serves as a platform for growth, providing participants with valuable feedback from distinguished adjudicators and celebrating the dedication required to master the keys.
