Traditional Lessons

Traditional Lessons include one weekly private lesson.

30-min: $750/semester ($150 monthly)*

45-min: $1,100/semester ($220 monthly)*

60-min: $1,400/semester ($280 monthly)*

Per-Lesson Billing

Students who do not wish to commit to a full semester may choose per-lesson billing. Invoices are issued at the end of each month for the lessons taken that month.

30-min lesson: $50/lesson

45-min lesson: $75/lesson

60-min lesson: $100/lesson

Accelerated Program

The Accelerated Program includes two weekly private lessons, one weekly 30-minute ensemble class and a weekly 45-minute group musicianship class.

AP 30: $2,500/semester ($500 monthly)*

AP 45: $2,750/semester ($550 monthly)*

AP 60: $3,000/semester ($600 monthly)*

LESSON INQUIRY

* Desert Hills Community School of Music uses a semester-based tuition structure, billed monthly, for private instruction. Tuition is based on a 16-week semester and divided into five monthly payments.

Tuition includes :

  • individualized instruction based on each student’s goals and level

  • performance opportunities throughout the year

  • access to DHCSM concerts, events, and selected school activities

  • use of two beautiful performance spaces

  • access to quality acoustic instruments, including Yamaha, Kawai, Baldwin, and Schimmel pianos, in our teaching and performance spaces

  • a supportive school environment with opportunities for collaboration and musical growth

Discounts, Scholarships, and Sponsorships

Multi-child family discounts, scholarships, and congregational sponsorships may be available to qualifying students. Families interested in tuition assistance are encouraged to complete the scholarship application form or contact us for details.

Members of Desert Hills Presbyterian Church receive reduced tuition rates.

Additional Fees

  • A $25 registration fee is billed each semester. If enrollment begins between September and May, the registration fee will be charged at that time.

  • A $10 late fee will be applied to invoices not paid by the 20th of each month.
