“Coming soon...”
A native of Upstate New York, Kerysa Ford grew up in a musical family, which fostered her love of music from an early age. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Performance from Southern Adventist University, and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Lee University.
Kerysa has taught private voice and beginner piano lessons for several years, working with students in both here in Arizona and formerly in Tennessee. During the final semester of her master’s degree, she co-taught an opera theater course at Southern Adventist University, gaining experience in vocal coaching, staging, costuming, and performance preparation. She enjoys working with students of all ages and helping them develop both their musical skills and a lasting love for music.
As a performer, Kerysa previously sang with Albany Pro Musica in Albany, New York. One of the highlights of her time with the ensemble was performing Mozart’s Requiem with the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Yannick Nézet-Séguin. She currently sings with the Glendale Sanctuary Choir in Arizona, where she serves as soprano section leader, and regularly performs as a soloist in churches throughout the area.
Kerysa believes music should be both challenging and enjoyable, and she loves encouraging students as they discover their own voices and grow in confidence as musicians.
