A baby’s persistent crying suddenly stops - the transformation takes exactly 31 seconds from the moment Jocelyn Obereyer’s fingers touch her harp strings, her music precisely matching the infant’s distressed pitch.

As a Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner, she is passionate about sharing her music with the ill, the stressed, the memory-challenged, families affect-ed by domestic violence, the homeless and mentally ill, and those facing end of life. She has brought peace and healing to countless families and individuals through this work.

In addition to her therapy work, Jocelyn serves as Executive Director and Board member of the Therapeutic Harp Foundation, where she plays for patients, their families, and their caregivers as well as directs the activities of the other staff therapeutic harpists. She is part of the leadership team of Diana Rowan’s Bright Knowledge Harp Circle.
