Brielle Beus

Violin, Viola

Brielle has been an incredible teacher . . . . Her calm, encouraging presence, creative teaching methods, and ability to adapt to my daughter’s needs have made all the difference in her growth and confidence as a musician.

After hearing a beautiful violin solo, Brielle Beus decided at a very young age that music would be the center of her life. She started piano lessons at age 7 as a foundation, then began her study of violin at age 10. Her love of the instrument grew as she played in competitions and events.

In high school, Brielle became the fiddler in a bluegrass band, playing in fairs and parades throughout Wyoming. When Brielle's five younger siblings followed in her footsteps and took up string instruments, they began performing together, earning the moniker The Von Trapp Family of the West.

After graduating high school, Brielle went on to major in violin performance at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. While there, she played in the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra and was fortunate to study under Professor Monte Belknap. Dr. Belknap inspired her passion for violin technique that she now shares with her students. Following graduation, Brielle opened a private music studio in the Salt Lake City area, where she taught 40+ students and also played at weddings and for recording studios.

Brielle is Suzuki certified in Book 1 for violin and viola. Having just moved to the Phoenix area with her husband, Brielle is excited to continue sharing her love of music with all her students here in Arizona.
